Saint Gaudens Hosting ‘Sculptural Visions’
Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, N.H., will hold its fourth annual “Sculptural Visions” event on Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event celebrates the many forms of sculpture and will include demonstrations, hands-on activities, and performances. Two Health for Seniors Workshops
Movement Workshop for Hospice and other Volunteers
6:30-8 p.m., Monday, September 21
The Morrison, 6 Terrace St., Whitefield
Movement educator Jeanne Limmer will present a workshop using movement, music, and imagery for hospice volunteers, hospital and nursing home staff, family members, and other individuals who care for hospice patients and very ill or bedridden seniors. Something as simple as pretending to plant a seed creates a memory of movement and a remembering of one of the unique stories in a person's life. The workshop will include simple movement and breathing exercises for comfort and relaxation, and an opportunity to discuss adaptive strategies. Cost: $10. Scholarships are available-contact your agency or the Arts Alliance. Preregistration is requested.
Yoga & Dance Together!

Littleton Area Senior Center
In this movement session, yoga instructor Katrine Barclay and Jeanne Limmer will integrate classic yoga forms with gentle movement and stretching to help us expand our awareness of our bodies and tune into what they are telling us.
$4 for non-seniors; $2 for seniors (65 and older)
These programs are part of the Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire's new Arts & Health for Seniors series, funded in part by the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts' Arts in Health Care program. 2010 Artist Fellow Part of NYC Exhibit
Ross Cisneros of Sanbornville is one of over a dozen artists who work is on display at the Cooper Union Gallery in “Free as Air and Water,” a show running through October 27, 2009.
